JW Art Gallery's first exhibition of 2022 is <Nondeterministic nonperiodic flow> by Shin Ye-jin, who mixes installation art, sculpture, and ceramic art.
Art director Lee Ji-soo who initiated this exhibition explains that it implies both the possibility of change due to the variables of energy derived from nature and the form that comes from the change of art. In addition, it clearly reveals that the scale of Mother Nature, which the artist felt as a child, was like a huge universe, and visualizes the mechanism of reconstruction and recreation at the same time.
What makes this exhibition that the artist's gigantic pillars and numerous parts form a group more interesting is none other than JW Art Gallery's unique 'Audio Archiving (https://bit.ly/3x13RCs)'.
The art director's aesthetic interpretation inspired by the exhibition is described as audio and then played in the gallery. For this, composer Kwon Wol participated in this work and made a BGM that harmonizes with the exhibition. This is a unique archiving that only galleries can attempt, and visitors may appreciate the work while listening to the art director’s narration throughout the gallery.
JW Art Gallery's <Nondeterministic nonperiodic flow> exhibition, which is equally enjoyable for sight and hearing, will be held until July 15th.
