SHARP #1
: Vietnam & Korea Private International Cultural Exchange Project
JW Fine Art has participated in the operation of 'SHARP #1 (Seoul Hanoi Artist Residency Plexus #1)', an international residency project as a support project for vitalizing private international cultural exchanges between Korea and Vietnam, hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
This project is an international residency program designed to revitalize the art world, where international exchanges have shrunk due to the impact of COVID-19 that hits the world. The content of the program is a project that helps the artist's work in all directions by providing a living space for creativity such as a residence, exhibition space, and studio for a certain period.
Jung Sung-kyun, CEO of JW Fine Art, said, “I am very happy to start JW Fine Art’s first overseas exchange project with Vietnam. We plan to showcase various works all over the world beyond borders and languages.”
Meanwhile, SHARP #1 will be conducted in a way that Korean and Vietnamese artists stay in Seoul to research and create. The joint exhibition will be held simultaneously at JW Art Gallery and SHARP #1 official website located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul in December.
