After graduating from the Department of Art Education at Gyeongin National University of Education, JOO, WOON-HANGhas worked as a painter and as the director of the Busan International Art Fair. With more than 20 solo exhibitions and 24 booth solo exhibitions, and about 37 overseas exhibitions, the number of exhibitions by 2021 is over 580 times.

The major theme in his work is related to “The Conscious Energy”. Also, brain science and quantum mechanicsare considered to be the origins of human consciousness. For instance,Cheonbugyeong is a bible of Daejonggyo. All of theseare important motifs to him. He has been obsessed with questions like “What is consciousness energy” and “Can it be visualized?” for a long time. According to him, human beings are a kind of small universe and the world exists within them.
